Hi gang,
Just setup SMS Link with Outlook 2007 and am having a slight
problem...
If I create a message, etc. and manually specify to send via the SMS
Link account in Outlook everything works fine so I know the account
and setup are working. That's the good news.
However, when you setup Outlook Notifications to use SMS Link the
process seems to work just fine at first. The rule is created in
Outlook, etc. But then I noticed that all of the notifications were
hanging in the Outbox. After investigating I discovered that the
reason was because they were all trying to be sent via the Exchange
Server account instead of the SMS Link account...and since Exchange
doesn't know what to do with them they stay in the Outbox.
I don't see a means of specifying an account to send a message through
in the Rules Wizard options so I'm hoping someone can tell me what
might be going on with the auto-generated SMS Link rule and how to
rectify.
(note that if I open the message from the outbox, change the account
to SMS Link, and re-send it goes just fine)
I haven't been able to find any information on this topic via
searches, but if it's already been answered somewhere else feel free
to just point me in that direction.
