I am learning Outlook 2007 and have customized my Inbox "Messages" view,
which I believe is a standard view. The on-line help message says that you
can "reset" a standard view if it has been customized. If it has not been
customized, then the "Reset" button will not be available. This is done by
selecting the folder in question (e.g.; Inbox), going to "View | Current View
| Define Views", selecting the view which you have customized and then
clicking the "Reset" button. The problem I am having is that when I do all
of that, for the Inbox, Messages view, the Reset button is not available, yet
I have added more fields into that view.
Could someone please tell me where I am going wrong? Am I misunderstanding
what a "standard" view is? Is the Messages view in the Inbox not a standard
view?
All help is greatly appreciated.
