Outlook 2007 Startup problems

When I tried to launch Outlook this morning, I got thefollowing erro
rmessage: "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot initialize
Microsoft Office shared utilities. Restart your computer or reinstall
Microsoft Office Outlook."
When I try to launch any of the other products in the Office suite (Word,
Excel, Access, etc.), I get a message stating "Not enough memory to run
Microsoft Office Excel. Please close other applications and try again."
The only change to my machine since yesterday (when everything was working
ok) are the 10 updates that were pushed by Microsoft.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd probably either reboot (even if it did reboot after the installation) or
just use system restore.

Thanks, Diane. I rebooted my computer a couple of times to no avail.
Ensured that there was adequate memory to run other programs in the office
suite, etc. Spent the whole morning googling and trying to figure out if
there was a solution (I am guessing there may be others who have encountered
this problem).

I'd probably either reboot (even if it did reboot after the installation) or
just use system restore.

Well it if didn't work after a reboot, I wouldn't waste time trying to
figure it out - I'd just use system restore and return to yesterday's image.
Windows will redownload the files within a few days but in my experience,
the problems don't return.
