Outlook 2007 still running after exit

I have been running Outlook 2007 successfully for several months now. Just
within the last few days Outlook 2007 has not been closing properly when I
exit. I see OUTLOOK.EXE in the task list in Task Manager after I have closed
it. When I restart Outlook a second (or third, etc) time, it no longer prompts
for my profile but just launches straight into my previous one. I also notice
that when I initially launch Outlook I get 2 "choose profile" windows - one
hidden behind the other. I also get 2 Reminders.

The only thing I can think of that changed on my system was that I added a
Logitech bluetooth keyboard and mouse, with set point software.

I am running Office 2007 on Windows Vista 32-bit. I have tried Outlook /safe
and I have repaired the Office installation. I have checked for updates.
Still have same problem.

Please help.

Follow-up: after running msconfig and disabling all start up programs and
non-Microsoft Services, the problem went away. I've added Norton Antivirus
back in to the startup services and the problem is still gone. Obviously, I
had something (SetPoint?) added to my services/startups that caused this
problem.
