Outlook 2007 stops receiving before end of last email

I looked at the subject on my previous post and realized it sounded
silly....

I'm using POP3, and it appears most of the time when I'm email, Outlook will
just stop getting the last message. It doesn't matter how many (could be 15,
could be 55), or how large the emails are, about 98% of the way through
Outlook just stops getting the last email; it trys, but I get to (say) 20 of
20, 149k of 150k Closing Outlook works, but then I get an error message.
I'm guessing the problem's with my PST file (about 600mb) and will test this
out with some smaller PSTs but was wondering if anyone else was having this
problem.
