Outlook 2007 sync issues in cache mode

Sabo, Eric

We are running Outlook 2007 (with all updates that are currently out) on an
Windows XP Professional SP2 client. The server-side and the client-side
don't match. It appears the Outlook 2007 client will not sync with the
Exchange 2003 Sp2 server.

We are getting the following error under the sync issue folder:
9:12:12 Synchronizer Version 12.0.4518
9:12:12 Synchronizing Mailbox 'XXXXXXX'
9:12:12 Done
9:12:12 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
9:12:12 0X80004005

I set the group policy to only use OAB v4 which took the error away.

But for some reason Outlook will not sync the deleted items folders from the
local copy to the server copy.

We have very little group policies that are set.

If you post to an Exchange group, chances are that you will receive an answer there.

After furious head scratching, Sabo, Eric asked:

Milly,

Thanks for the reply. I thought this group is where I should ask Outlook
2007 questions.

Microsoft.public.outlook would be the best place for Outlook questions. However, with Exchange in the picture, the error is one generated by Exchange so that is why I am suggesting posting to an Exchange group. You may want to cross-post to get the best of both worlds.
