Outlook 2007 Synchronisation with Exchange 2000

It's written in the Office 2007 Beta 2 documentation that outlook is
compatible with excahnge 2000.
In my case if I try to connect to my exchange 2000 server (which was ok with
my Outlook 2003) I've an error during the launch of outlook which said :
"Impossible to open your mail folder. The ressource you want to use is in a
version of Microsoft Exchange server that is not supported."
I've tryed to recreate my profile, select or not the cache mode, nothing
works.

It's an enterprise exchange server and after verification it seems that it's
a 5.5 server as the result of a telnet on port 110 answer POP3 Microsoft
Exchange version 5.5.2654.89, or maybe that all the files are not updated
after a migration to exchange 2000?

something wasn't updated after the upgrade - it's probably best to ask in
the exchange group as they would know more about what is going on since it's
a server side issue.
