I'm having a problem with all my task reminders coming up at the correct
time, but showing that the task is actually due at 5pm.
Example:
When creating a task in Outlook 2003, I'll set the start date, due date and
reminder all for 11/17/08. I'll set the reminder time for 8am. At 8am the
reminder pops up and says the task is "Due In: Now"
When I follow the same steps in Outlook 2007 the reminder still pops up at
8am but it shows the task is "Due in: 9 hours"
It's as though in Outlook 2007 the time that all tasks are due defaults to
5pm, but in Outlook 2003 the time the tasks are due is the same as the
reminder time.
I even tried creating tasks without a start date and due date, and this
seems to fix the reminder problem but if it's a recurring task and you need
to type a note in the body of the task for the next time that it comes up, it
doesn't save that info.
I've downloaded the Office 2007 service pack 1 hoping it would fix the
problem and it didn't. Please help! I need my tasks to be "due" at the same
time I'm reminded of them!!!
