Outlook 2007 templates

I've just upgraded to Office 2007, and unfortunately templates that I created
in Outlook 2003 no longer work.

Can anyone help me with Outlook 2007 templates. I have done multiple
searches for templates, but can find no information. I know they are saved
as .oft files, but I cannot open them, nothing but garbage appears.
