I just upgraded from Outlook 2003 to the trial of Outlook 2007. I had
created some Automatic Formatting rules that worked great in Outlook 2003
but do not work in 2007.
For my Tasks, I've created a rule that changes the font to underlined if the
Notes field in the Task is Not Empty. However almost all of my new Tasks
show up underlined, even when their Notes field has absolutely nothing in
it.
The same thing goes for Calendar entries. I have rules that change the
color of a Calendar entry if the Notes field is not empty. Again this
worked fine with 2003.
I've noticed that if I create a Task using the "new item" row, then that
Task displays properly. If I create a Calendar Event by just typing in the
Calendar space, instead of double-clicking on the calendar, or selecting New
Appointment, then that event is displayed properly.
Is this a bug?
