We are in the process of creating a new domain for a client, with a new
Exchange server as well. Currently the Exchange server is up and running and
we have moved one user over as a test.
Here is the problem - when using OWA she can send and receive emails with no
problems whatsoever. However, when she is at her computer using Outlook
2007, most emails will bounce back with the error message
IMCEAEX-_O=CAROLINE_OU=FIRST+20ADMINISTRATIVE+20GROUP_CN=RECIPIENTS_CN=username@Caroline.local
#550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found ##
Caroline.local is the name of the new domain, however the server is
configured to send mail addressed to our old domain to the old mail server
through the internet.
Even though she typed in the full address for the user, it seems to have
changed the address to point to the new domain, which is why it's bouncing
back. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?
Thanks,
Eric
