I upgraded from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007 have 3 IMAP accounts set up. My
default view is the 'IMAP Message' view.. I have tried resetting views,
starting up with /cleanviews switch, etc - and I am having problems.
By default, my message sort is by received (ascending), so newest messages
arrive on bottom. If I click on folders and go back to say my Inbox,
sometimes the view shows the oldest message selected instead of the last read
message.. This means many times when I go to my Inbox, I have to go to the
bottom of the message list manually. Also, on occasion, when switching
between folders, the sort order will change back to 'descending' when I
return to the Inbox..
This is annoying behavior -- is this a known issue? If so, is there a
solution?
