Outlook 2007 & VIsta SP1

I have been working on an issue where Outlook stalls at 95% synching
to Exchange. I have reimaged my machine and noticed the problem
happens after installing Vista SP1. I see other posts, but what is
the concensus about Vista SP1. Are a lot of people using it
successfully? I have to colleagues using SP1 but they both have
different Outlook issues - one crashes, the other locks up randomly
when viewing messages.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hard to say without any direct information like errors presented to you or
Event Logs.
What is reported in the send/receive log files when you enable logging?

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Yeah, I know it is tough. The logs did not reveal anything and
running in safe mode yielded the same results. I have a ticket open
with MS but it was taking to long to track down. We ended back at the
beginning w/o any clues. That is why I reimaged and started adding
pieces one by one. Once SP1 was put on, the issue started right
away. W/o it I have been running for a couple days w/o the issue.

It gets stuck at 95% but the logs show the exchange communication was
completed.

Thanks

What's the version number reported by Outlook?
Help-> About

Do you have any addins installed that integrate with Outlook?
It could very well be that your virus scanner is not compatible with Vista
SP1 and disrupting the communication. If it has the option to integrate with
Outlook or any mail protocol enabled, disable this integration and try
again.
