Outlook 2007 Vista Ultimate (MSDN) Exchange 2003 SP2 Remote connec

My outlook is running unbearably slow while at home using a VPN connection
back into our network. It wasn't like this when using 2007 B B2TR & XP pro.

I was having issues using cached mode (outlook would say folders up to date
but the inbox was hours behind). I switched to non cached mode and the delays
began.

I'm the first in the organization to use Ultimate + 2007 on a laptop so I'm
trying to stay ahead of the curve. Any help finding soutions or where to look
to find out the delay would be appreciated.

I'm experiencing the longest delays when switching from one folder to
another or resorting the inbox (I actually get the message on the title bar
(Not Responding).

Bandwidth is not the issue as it has not changed.

Rob,
Whats the size of your mailbox (right click on the mailbox and choose
properties and look for the FOLDER SIZE button in the lower part of the pop
up) Mine was 2+GB I have offloaded a major amount of the files into pst files
but now I face the fun of trying to keep those in synce amonst multiple
machines ... things seemed much better at home lastnight with a mailbox
closer to 300MB
