Outlook 2007 Voting Buttons embeded in body

Hello Group,

I would like to add voting buttons into the body of the email. I
already know how to create a vote by going to options->Use Boting
Buttons, and I know how to respond, and track the votes - and this
works really well. But new users always struggle with how to respond:
either the "click here to vote" in the preview pane, or the "Vote" on
the ribon if you open the message. It would be handy if I could just
put a "yes" and "no" button in the body of the message right after the
question. My HR manager swears she could do that in Outlook 2000 and
2003, but I've never seen it before. Any ideas?

Thanks all,
Ryan

Your HR manager's recollection is not correct. Voting buttons have never been part of the body of the message, and unless you have Access 2007/Outlook 2007, there's no easy way to build a message with questions in the body of the message for people to answer.

I always suggest putting some instruction at the very beginning of a voting button message telling people how to find the response buttons.
