OUTLOOK 2007 will not open.

I am having a problem with Outlook 2007. I keep getting the following
message:
"Microsoft Outlook has stopped working; A problem caused the program to stop
working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify if a solution
is avoidable. I have the run detect and repiar with no sucess.

Hi, same problem with Vista Pro and Lenovo X300. Outlook 2007 stops
immediately. No usefull information in Events etc.

But, when I started Outlook without my external Lacie USB-disk, Outlook
friendly asked if I want to give a new archive file. With a new archive file
Outlooks seems to work fine. Disk check did not find any errors in Lacie.
