Outlook 2007 will not start

When I try to open Outlook, I get an error that says "Cannot start Microsoft
Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window." It was working fine and
now it will not open.

Try starting Outlook with the resetnavpane switch;
Start-> type; outlook.exe /resetnavpane
(note the space in the command)
