I have just purchased and installed Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager.
First off, the program is slow in loading and opening when I first turn on
my computer each day. However, if I shut down the program and re-open it,
it opens quite quickly, provided that I don;t turn off my computer again.
I'm just curious as to why it should be slow opening when I first turn my
computer on. Also, the program can be somewhat sluggish, when navigating
around certain features, especially in Business Contact Manager. Is there
anything I can do to make it run faster. My computer is 2GB of memory and
80GB hard drive. I am running XP Pro.
Secondly when the program opens, I constantly get an error message telling
me that a file did not shut down properly the last time the program was used.
What is that all about, and how can I fix it? I don't know what file it's
referring to, so if anyone has an ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
