Outlook 2007 with Outlook connector very slow

I have used Outlook to download my MSN and Comcast email accounts for many
years but have never experienced this problem...it is really slow...very
bad. It is so slow when syncronizing messages I can't open or do anything
else while waiting for it to finish. 5 Minutes or more go by before I can't
do anything on my entire computer...what is the problem?

Does this have anything to do with the new changes with Outlook connector
and POP 3 accounts? I have my email accounts listed as MAPI accounts. Is
this requiring changes?

Anything you cna offer as suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am
ready to call it quits with this program. I can not shut Outlook down during
a synchronization at all or I receive the error message Outlook is not
responding. If I force it to shut down... then when opening it again,Outlook
doesa repair of my personal data files which takes over a half hour. Is
there something simple you can suggest that I need to do to correct this?

In opening or sending emails my computer screen goes all white within
Outlook and my computer is limited and become useless.... Please help, I
need this corrected asap. thanks in advance.

Have you applied Service Pack 2 already for Office 2007?
Also, which other add-ins do you have installed?

If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable/uninstall
this integration and try again.
