CAN SEND MAIL SUCH AS TEST SETTINGS BUT WILL NOT RECEIVE MAIL. WAS WORKING OK
ON XP. NO ERROR MESSAGES DISPLAYED. CURRENTLY HAVING TO USE OUTLOOK 2002 ON
AN XP MACHINE ( WHICH IS HOW I KNOW THE TEST SETTINGS MAIL WORKS OK ON SEND
IN 2007). ANY IDEAS?

-----Don't use all CAPS as it means shouting and is difficult to read-----

Common issue often caused by your virus scanner integrating with Outlook.
Disable this integration and try again.

HI ROADY, THANKS FOR THE REPLY I'LL HAVE A LOOK BUT I'M HAVING TO USE MS
ONECARE AT THE MOMENT AS MY PC PROTECTION.. HAVEN'T COME ACROSS INDEPENDENT
64BIT A/V AS YET.
SHOUTING IS USING YOUR VOICE WHICH YOU MIGHT DO IF SOMEONE WAS DEAF. CAPS IS
GREAT FOR ME AS I HAVE POOR SHORT RANGE VISION AND THEREFORE I DO KNOW IT IS
EASIER TO READ, CHECK THIS WITH AN OPTICIAN IF YOU EVER HAVE AN EYE TEST ITS
ALWAYS THE SMALLEST LETTERS YOU CAN'T READ. JUST BECAUSAE PEOPLE LIKE A
CONVENTION IT DOESN'T MAKE IT SO . TONY

Personnally I cannot read your post CAPS or not, without using my glasses.
My optician 'tuned' my glasses specifically for use with a PC display

Mine did too - computer glasses were the best investment I ever made.

It's so much easier to read proper case (or all lower case) than all upper
case and if you need it bigger, use a larger text size or zoom (page button
in IE7). Or change the monitors DPI or font size.
