Outlook 2007

Each time I open Outlook 2007, it opens, shows my Inbox contents, then tries
to start send/receive and closes automatically. It does this over and over.
Even if I open an e-mail, it closes before I can finish reading it.

I've done microsoft update, scanned for viruses, and emptied temporary files.

Please help.

Is this a new problem or one that ocuured after you upgraded to Office 2007?
And you've run Office Diagnostics?
