I attempted to load the 2007 trial version of microsoft office and it is not
easy. Outlook does not load and I note that in the discussions in the office
discussion groups, this problem comes up frequently. There is no support. I
attempted to call and was rudely told there was no support for the trial
version and they were surprised to think anyone should need or want support.
Seems like if your encouraging people to load the trial version ( I assume
with some desire to get them impressed with the improvements and purchase the
product when available at the end of January), that you would start helping
people with problems installing. Now it leaves a bad impression.
I am using Microsoft Office XP professional.
