Just installed Office 2007 Pro SP1 on my Windows Xp Pro Sp3 pc.

I have sounds turned on for incoming email.

When the email goes into my inbox the sound plays no problem.

When the message goes into a folder directly via a rule the sound does not
play

I had Office XP Pro 2002 SP3 on my pc before and the sounds always worked.

I completely removed office xp pro before I installed Office 2007 Pro this
was NOT an upgrade.

Am I missing a setting?

Any ideas or suggestions

Thanks

Tom

That is the default behavior of Outlook 2007. When a rule moves a message,
no sounds play. You can change this behavior by adding a condition to the
rule - play a sound.
