Outlook 2007

Gary

As most of us do, I get a lot of spam in my inbox. With my new set up, when
I delete an email, Outlook just runs a line thru the post but does not remove
it from my inbox. I have physically moved the emails to the delete folder
and then deleted them but they remain in my inbox.
How do I get rid of these emails who refuse to die?
I've never had this problem with any other version of Outlook so I'm
guessing it's a setting I have missed.
Help please.

You are using an IMAP account which requires you to use the Edit->Delete to
get rid of the deleted items in your in-box.

I know a very nice application ' Advanced Outlook Repair'
(http://www.datanumen.com/aor/). It is a powerful tool to recover
messages, folders and other objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft
Outlook PST files. Please visit 'Advanced Outlook Repair - Powerful
Outlook recovery tool. PST repair tool.'
(http://www.datanumen.com/aor/index.htm) for detailed information about
Advanced Outlook Repair.
