Outlook 2k, 2 profiles, 2 .pst

I have outlook 2k, using 2 profiles, and 2 .pst files .... I want to be able
to run an outlook instance for each profile at the same time ... is this
possible?

I dont think so, but you can have both accounts and PSTs open at the same
time if you want. and set up rules to route your mail from each account to
the proper PSTs inbox.

I guess I don't understand how I can set it up the way you describe ... every
time I try to open outlook again for the 2nd time and choose a different
profile ...it reverts to the profile that was opend the first time I opened
outlook ...end result is I have 2 session of outlook going even though on the
2nd session I selected a different profile. If I can have one session going
and have all email come in thru that session and go to the correct pst thats
fine ..how do I do that and if i reply what profile's email address will show
up in the header (if I said that right) ?

I guess I don't understand how I can set it up the way you describe

Two mail profiles are two separate structures in the registry. What Ken was
describing was two mail accounts in the same profile. Each account download
its data to one PST and then rules move the data for one of the two accounts
to the second PST.
