Outlook 2K calendar and old messages

I had to re-install W2K in another directory of HDD. I need to gain access and install my old messages from my previous installation of Outlook and W2K. My old profile is still intact and I uploaded my address book. Where are my calendar, messages, and tasks?

I found my old .pst file in a search, but outlook will not recognize any of these files from "open, .pst files"
Is it as simple as copying this .pst?
