If I'm not in the right group, please direct me.
I built a new system with XP and Outlook 2k in my office for a remote
client. I tested most everything, but did not set up email, waiting to get
on site with the server.
The new system logs on fine, maps network drives, all the things I expected
except for Outlook.
Outlook does not seem to see the Exchange server and only Internet mail
setup option is offered. When I setup Internet email, it does work, but I
am not offered any other services.
The 'Tools', 'Options', 'Reconfigure', 'Mail Services' tab listed in the
help file does not exist.
I have run 'Repair', Re-Install', 'Uninstall', deleted directories, etc.
Final note. The user for this computer does have fully working Exchange
email working on his old machine running Win2k. So i do have '.ost' and
'.pst' files available.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug Sanders
