Outlook 2k SP1-3 update on an Office 97 build. Help!

We are on NT4 SP6 with Office 97. We have installed
Outlook 2000 on this image and need to correctly apply the
service packs for Outlook 2000.

We are getting the error stating that the incorrect
version of Office is detected when we attempt to run the
SP-1 on the build.

What is the correct way to SP Outlook 2k in this situation?
