I'm also trying to get archiving to work. I've set up two known good
systems: one WinXP Pro and one Win2k. Office and OS both fully updated.
Win2k is IMAP; WinXP is POP.
Both are set up to auto-archive (set at one day); I also tried to manually
archive. Neither system archived any email. that is, archive.pst folders
are created (265kb) and exist, but selecting the Archive Folders (under the
All Mail tab on the left) shows nothing in the folders.
Specifically, I'm trying to maintain the folder structure that exists on the
server so that its duplicated in the archive. It does, however nothing is
archived. Yes, i've checked the box marked "Include items marked do not
archive."
I just tried to archive the entire InBox, which is about 1,400 emails going
back a year. Two emails were archived.
any ideas out there? No error message, no nothing. The server is a Novell
GroupWise server configured as POP/IMAP.
