Hi,
I have outlook 2k3 sp2 installed along with the rest of Office 2k3. I am
in an exchange envrionment, and have configured Outlook security settings
via a top level public folder called "Outlook Security Settings". I have
two forms in that folder, with a default form and an exception form set. I
have set the registry key under HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Security to
a RegDWord CheckAdminSettings=1. In the exclusion form, we are excluding
..exe files.
This is not working for us with the full office 2k3 install. It should be
noted that the vast number of our machines are running Office XP, in which
Outlook HAS been upgraded to 2k3 SP2, and IT IS working.
As we want to upgrade our Office to 2k3, I need to be able to allow certain
users to open exe files for business purposes. How should I proceed in
troubleshooting this issue?
Thanks
