Outlook 97 and HTML display

C

CanadianTrev

I've got Outlook 97 running (with XP .. yeah I know I should upgrade)

Express runs fine but Outlook doesn't display in HTML format. Displays like attachment and then I have to double click to open. Also embedded URL's now display instead of being within the 'clickable' word(s)

can anyone help .. or is it a lost cause

Thanks

Outlook 97 doesn't support HTML format messages. It's too old.

upgrade I suppose.

Thanks for the input
A work around for Outlook 97:
Open the html message.
Click edit, select all.
Copy the html text to the clip board and paste into Notepad.
Save the file with the .htm extension.
Double click the saved file and your browser should process it as an
normal htm file
