Hi,
I have just upgraded a machine from 98 to XP Pro. The
machine had Office 97 installed.
Since upgrading I am having problems with Outlook 97. I
have had to re-install Office several times, but the
problem still persists.
Basically if I logon to out domain as 'Administrator' I
can access Outlook with no problems at all. However if I
try to logon to the domain as the intended user or any
other user, when I try to open Outlook I get the
following message:
"The program is not registered properly. Please run Setup
again. You don't have appropriate permission to perform
this operation."
I have tried re-installing Offce/Outlook logged as a the
specific user, but running as Administrator - this did
not work.
I beleive there must be an entry in the registry which
needs ammending/deleting.
Please can someone help.
Kindest Regards
Dil
