Outlook 97 Wrong Folder List Language

Hi all.

Can someone tell me how the language of my Folder List in Outlook 97 can be
different of the language of my client ?

My client is Outlook 97, french version, with Windows NT 4 WorkStation
French version.

When I create a new mailbox and configure it on my client station, the
folder list that contain the Inbox, Sent Item ... is in English. Normaly if
my client use an french version, I need that is folder list will be in French.

Can someone help me ?

when you connect to an exchange server, it sets the language. I don't recall
if 97 has the resetfoldernames switch, if not there are tools you can use -
there are some listed at

I'm not sure it's the best solution because few weeks ago, I create a mailbox
for a new person in my enterprise and is folder list is in the right
language. In french.

The last two mailbox, I created, are in english and normally, they are
supposed to be in french ?

Nothing change on server and computers.

Might want to check with the server folks
then -http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.exchange.clients
- it sounds like it's something server side, not client side.
