Outlook 98 hangs on exit after mailbox is accessed by Outlook 2003

I have a user that accesses 2 mailboxes on an Exchange Server. One mailbox
is personal not accessed by anyone else. The other mailbox is a general
mailbox access by other users and some are running Outlook 2003. This user
is running Outlook 98, when she exits Outlook from her personal mailbox, the
application closes correctly. However for the general mailbox, Outlook 98
hangs on "please wait while Outlook exits" The items listed in the how-to
article have not helped,
