Outlook 98 Mode - Internet Mail vs Corporate/Workgroup Exchange

I've been using Outlook 98 in Internet Mail Only mode for years. I want to
configure it for Exchange support so I can access office mail when connected
to VPN. My IT department says there should be a Tools/Option/Mail
Services tab that I can flag for corporate/workgroup mode. I have
tools/options, but now 'mail services' tab. The closest is mail
delivery/accounts - but I couldn't find anything relating to
corporate/workgroup mode on that tab.

He's probably thinking of Outlook 2000. The procedure is a little different

Thank you - I followed your link with instructions for changing mode, (which
is to add components using add/remove program from control panel). The add
components choice takes me to a web page that no longer exists.

If you no longer have the files locally, please be advised that they were
removed for download several years ago with the release of Office
2000/Outlook 2000.
