Doc Don Sturgiss
Terrie - you didn't include enough info. What operating
system are you using?
When this happens, either Outlook or the operating system
(most likely) have serious errors and must be re-
installed. If you aren't using a professional version of
Windows (XP, 2000 or NT), I would rebuild the complete
operating system and all of the applications on it as the
first action, since just rebuilding Outlook'98 is probably
(about 95+% probability) not going to handle the problem.
I know that can be a lot of work but the SOHO version of
Windows (Win9x and WinME) degrade over time and
get "fragile" like this. In fact, I keep a clean copy of
the fully setup Win9x/WinME system with all of its apps
installed for each computer type to handle just this
situation since these Windows SOHO versions commonly
degrade in as little as six months (or less!)
Good Luck!
