I have had this problem along with others it seems. My Outlook 2003
worked fine at my work and home pc's. I had Exchange configured and
my outside POP3 Account at work. No problems. I have pop3 only at
home and no problems there at all. I upgraded to Outlook 2007 and my
POP3 Account at work stopped working. Home is fine.
I can test the pop3 Account settings fine from control panel but not
from within Outlook. However Outlook Express works fine but I would
prefer to use just Outlook and have all my mail in one spot along with
my calanders. We do use ISA/Proxy server but I had no troubles in
Outlook 2003 and nothing has changed other then the Upgrade to 2007.
Since I have tried every suggestion I could find I'm stumped.
I'm curious as to why the testing account settings of the pop3 account
would work fine when testing from the control panel but not when I
open Outlook 2007 and do the same test. I'm hoping this may give me
an idea on how to fix this since all the other fixes I have tried have
not worked. Thank you in advance on any help on this.
