Outlook Add-in not downloading

I've posted this problem in the Server discussion forum but am not getting
much help so I'd try this one as well.

I'm in desperate need of an answer to this problem. I've been trying to
figure it out on my own for 5 months now and haven't come to a solution.

When I click the Download Now button to download the Outlook Add-In in PWA,
it prompts me if I want to run the ActiveX script, I click Yes, and then it
does nothing. I click the Download Now button again and nothing happens
except I get a problems with this web page error with the following details:

Line: 2890
Char: 5
Error: Permission denied
Code: 0
URL: http://servername/projectserver/Tasks/outladdn.asp?_oid=-1

I am the Project Server Administrator so I have admin privileges on the
server. I shouldn't be getting a permission denied error as I am also a
domain admin and have full privileges. This is happening to me and all my
end users.

Also, all my Internet security settings are set to Low (Internet, Intranet &
Trusted Sites).

I really need to get this fixed and am hoping someone can help me. Thank you.

Hi Ratheesh,

No, I don't have a pop-up blocker installed. I have whatever comes with
Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2. I've allowed pop-ups when connecting to PWA and
it still doesn't work. I have about 25 end-users that are having the same
behavior so I doubt it's a pop-up software problem.

Any more help would be appreciated. Are there certain ports on a firewall
or router that need to be open in order for the add-in to install on client
pc's? My Project server is on a protected v-lan.

Try going to internet explorer Tools->internet options->Security ->Trusted
Sites - Add your server name here

Yep, I've done that. That was part of the instructions when you initially
install Project server. Me and all my end users have it as a trusted site.
