Outlook Add-In... POS?

Is it me or is the Outlook Add-in for Project server a serious piece of
crap? I've had nothing but problems with this add-in, by far the most
offensive being that it just STOPS WORKING after rebooting the machine!!! I
have to constantly reinstall and re-import my tasks to make this thing work.
This is not just my machine, either. I have this same problem on two
machines. It seems like very brittle software, to say the least.

Is there a new version or service pack I'm not aware of?

Which version of Project Server are you using. Certainly the release of SP1
and the additional hotfixes have fixed many of the issues I experienced with
Project Server 2007. The outlook addin is a com object, so relies on Outlook
to be working correctly too, and something I kinda get the feeling that there
are just too many variables at play here.

Hi,

we are using here the Project Server/Exchange Server Integration with
Allocatus. So we do not have the need for any Outlook-Add-In. This has
simplified the deployment very much.
