Outlook add-in problem

Hi,

I have a problem with the Project Add-in for Outlook. After applying
SP1 to project server and office applications, my imported project
tasks are only shown as "normal" outlook tasks and not as project
task. When I open a task, there's no project form to apply project
task information.

I reinstalled the project add-in several times, but with no luck. It
seems that the project form is missing. I also tried to delete all
imported tasks and reimport them again. Same result, all project task
are shown as outlook tasks.

Any help would be great.

Best,
Martin

I've not got an answer to your problem, however if I was troubleshooting this
issue I'd start by understanding the scope. ie is the problem one just your
machine, just your user/user profile. If either of these are true then it
wouldn't be too hard to resolve. If all users/machines within your org are
experiencing the same problem then I'd suggest you raised a support call with
Microsoft.

I've tried importing both tasks and calender items Outlook 2007 SP1/PS2007
SP1 and it works as expected.

Hi all,
I solved my problem. I had to uninstall the Add-in Outlook, Office 2007,
delete keys of Office in Registry. After that reinstall Office 2007 and
Add-in Outlook. I don't know what exactly happened.

Hope it helps,

Hi,

thank you for that advice. I could solve my problem too, but I don't
have to uninstall Office completly.
I've done the following:
- Uninstall Outlook Add-In
- Remove Registry Keys:
- Search for "IPM.Task.MSProjectServer12" and delete these entries
- Check if "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook
\Addins\ProjectServer.12" still exists and delete it
- Chekc if Forms in your profile still exists (\applicationdata
\Microsoft\FORMS or search for "IPM.Task.MSProjectServer") and delete
these folders
- reboot your system
- install Outlook Add-In again

This solved my problem without uninsalling Office/Outlook completly.

Best,
Martin
