Outlook Add-in Task List

I recently installed the Outlook Add-In for use with our Project Server, and
I see that Project tasks are downloaded to my calendar. My co-worker tells
me that in previous versions, the tasks were downloaded to the user's Task
List instead of the Calendar, and this seems preferable to me, since it
provides a central location for a user to view all of their active tasks,
and Outlook tasks support reminders.

Is there a way to get it to use our task lists instead of our calendars, and
does anyone know whether there is any advantage to having them in the
calendar instead of the task list?

Joel --

There is no default method to get the Project Server tasks to display as
Tasks in Outlook. Sorry.

Hi Joel,

We came accross the same issue and have found a third party product allowing
you to move tasks in your "to do" list or Callendar.
Please have a look under:
