Outlook Address Book vs Outlook Express Address Book

Using Office 2000 you could share contacts between Outlook and the Outlook
Express address book. Using 2003 you can't share them. I have two questions:

1. Is there any way to force (maybe a registry tweak) Outlook 2003 to share
contacts with the Outlook Express address book?

2. How can I make a shortcut that will open the Outlook 2003 contact list?

Thanks.

They took away the option but the registry setting is still there.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4

Create a DWORD and call it

UseOutlook

Give it a value of 1.

You might have to keep doing this every time you update Office 2003.

Note that this doesn't work with Office 2007 (if you upgrade at a later
date).

Many thanks for this solution!

I'm currently running XP with Office 2000, but on my days off I'll load up
Office 2003 and check it out.
