Outlook Address book

How can I not have the FAX number display in the outlook
address book? When I press the To button, the Outlook
Address book that display from the contact list show the E-
mail address and FAX numbers. I only want E-mail
addresses. If I delete them in the outlook address book
view they are removed from the contact list.

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed here:

I "F"ed it out. Put a F in front of the fax number...

It seams stupid to have a e-mail applicaion so configurable that an easy
option would have been to have a check box on the fax numbers to show them
as e-mail or not. Duh!
