Have seen prevoius posts re missing address book...have
tried to add a new address book -- get msg "account you
have added is not fully configured. It might not work
properly until re-configured correctly."

Have viewed setting for email accounts and they are all
working properly. I've been receiving and sending with no
problems. Any suggestions????

Where did you try to add a new Address Book? If you've read the other posts
(and the replies), you probably know that the Outlook Address Book is just
another view of your Contacts folder...so if the OAB is already a part of
your profile, you shouldn't have to add it again. Please post the exact
steps you took, and tell us when exactly the error message appeared. Also
make sure you post the exact text of the error message (assuming what you
already posted isn't the exact text).

Thanks for your reply.

Starting at the begining....When I send an email and click
on the TO to look up addresses, there's nothing there OR
when trying to 'search/find' a name, nothing is found. I
have a contacts folder. So I tried to right click on it,
select 'properties'/outlook address book' so I could
select 'show this folder as an email address
book'...everything was greyed out and I was unable to do
it.

Next, I selected Tools/Email Accounts...under 'Directory'
selected 'View or change existing directories or address
books'...but none were shown. Then I went back and
selected 'add new directory or address book'/additional
address books/next/selected outlook address
book/next..received an error message "The account you have
added is not fully configured. It might not work properly
until re-configured correctly."

Again..thanks for your help!!

I can't find anything in the MSKB about that error message. You might want
to try creating a new mail profile from scratch and see if that solves the
problem. Sometimes upgrading from one version to another and re-using the
same profile can cause weird problems. You can create a new profile via
Control Panel | Mail.
