Found a unique thing and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen something like
this:
When a person enter Outlook on a system configured with an Office install
that also installs the OAB, etc, etc., the person with a name such as AALLEN
gets prompted to select if he is Al Allen (ALLEN) or Alice Allen
(ALLEN1--exchange alias), when Outlook 2003 opens and I go to the To field
and select the drop down, the Outlook Address Book and the contacts do not
show up in the list. On the same machine a new person sits down that doesn't
have duplicate person JDOE (Jane Doe) for example, opens Outlook, it goes
right in and the To field shows the Outlook Address Book along with contacts.
Same machine and office install. We can reproduce this behavior when we
find alike alias's and it always prompts to select a name when going into
Outlook.
Outlook install was configured with the %USERNAME% to resolve out names.
Any ideas?
