Outlook Address Book

I am using Outlook in Office XP.
The data in "Contacts" is correct. (Last name,First Name
etc)
When searching for a contact in the "Adress Book" the
data is jumbled. about 60% of the contents of "Contacts"
comes through correctly - the other is incorrectly filed.
Can someone advise me how to correct this please.
