Outlook adds a [SPAM] header to my mail messages

Is there anybody out there who knows how to get Microsoft Outlook to stop
adding the [SPAM] prefix to the header of every mail message I receive? I'm
utilising Outlook 2007; which came pre-loaded with McAfee (which I disabled
as it was causing Outlook to crash). I've looked for any and every option
available to 'turn this feature off' - but have had no success! I've added
domains, senders, recipients and everything to 'safe senders' in the vain
hope that it'll stop vandalising my mail with this [SPAM] prefix, but it
hasn't worked. It's getting a little embarrassing when conversing with work
colleagues who have thought that I don't trust the mail they send me! Please
help!

Kind Regards,

Outlook isn't adding it. It's coming from a third party spam blocking
program. It may have been part of McAfee, or another program either on your
computer or provided by your ISP.

Rather than disabling McAfee, uninstall it completely. Reinstall it, if you
must, but without the Office/Outlook intergration
