Outlook and attachments

I am running Outlook 2003 - when I send word attachments to users some
receive them and others don't - messages are composed in HTML format

In what kind of environment? Are the users within this same environment?

Internet environment from home, some receivers are home based and some are on
business network, there is no common thread. It appears dependant on
particular PC. One receiver can receive on laptop but not on home pc or
business PC. I can send from my business on internal network to my home and
receive ok. Only appears to occur with word doc attachments.

Could it be filtered on their end? Some corporate environments don't allow
the receiving of attachments. Are they all using Outlook?

I don't believe they are filtered and they all use outlook. They can receive
some attachments but not word attachments
