For years I have been looking for a way to automatically send multiple text
files in the body of an e-mail. Then to my joy I discovered
Content-Disposition: INLINE.
Woo Hoo! Problem solved.
Not.
All my test messages to a variety of clients all display the text files
in-line, some with hlines between files, some without. Unfortunately,
neither Outlook 2000 nor Outlook 2003 will do this. This is plain text,
clearly marked as such as you can see by the snipped of "raw" email below.
The question:
What must I do to get OL2003 to display text attachments in-line?
<quote>
File Follows:
--=_BlatBoundary-97DNZd4Bd7cG6jSyL88vO
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Disposition: INLINE
Content-Description: "TestMessage.txt"
</quote>
Note: The above was sent by blat.exe (cmd-line mailer).
