Hello,
I read that Outlook Express is not able to hanlde CRAM-MD5
authentications.
Are there also official Informations or Microsoft statements why not?
Now my question is can the big Outlook (whatever Version) handle CRAM-
MD5 POP/IMAP authentications? I found nothing to configure it and it
isn't used by default if only CRAM-MD5 is possible. If it isn't
possible I don't really understand why Microsoft can sell this product
for such a high price, when a simple non-plaintext authentication
isn't available...
If it can't what non-plaintext authentications does Outlook or Outlook
Express provide ?
And are there official Informations, why it doesn't work or will not
work in the future ?
(I know they're providing TLS/SSL. Both tested with POP, IMAP, SMTP)
